Call for Papers – SBAC 2025
12th Social Business Academia Conference 2025
Date: October 2-4, 2025
Venue: Hiroshima University, Hiroshima, Japan (Hybrid)
Theme: Innovating for Impact: Social Business and the Path to 3ZEROs
The Social Business Academia Conference (SBAC) continues to explore and advance the concept of Social Business, a transformative idea pioneered by Nobel Peace Laureate Professor Muhammad Yunus. Rooted in the principle of solving human problems through sustainable, non-dividend business models, social business provides a practical and inclusive framework for addressing some of the world’s most pressing issues.
SBAC 2025 will be held at Hiroshima University, Hiroshima, Japan, alongside the 7th SocialTech Summit, jointly co-organized by Yunus Centre, Kyushu University, Hiroshima University, and the Social Business Academia Network. This joint event will highlight how social business plays a central role in achieving the vision of 3ZERO: zero net carbon emission, zero wealth concentration for ending poverty, and zero unemployment by unleashing entrepreneurship in all; a global mission to create a more just, inclusive, and sustainable world.
SBAC 2025 welcomes contributions from scholars, practitioners, activists, and professionals to discuss emerging trends, empirical research, and real-world applications of social business in advancing sustainable development and inclusive growth.
