Country and Regional Forums for Social Business Day 2025: Local Actions, Global Impact

We are pleased to announce that the Country and Regional Forums will once again be an integral part of Social Business Day 2025.

This year, the forums will be held locally in each participating country or region prior to the main conference, providing an opportunity for participants to come together, share insights, and develop country-specific strategies. These forums will enable meaningful exchanges of ideas and the formulation of concrete action plans, which will be presented at the main conference.

What is a Country or Regional Forum?

A Country or Regional Forum is a dedicated space where participants from the same country or region come together to:

- Share experiences in social business and reflect on challenges
- Explore opportunities to scale local impact
- Develop action plans for the coming year, to be shared at Social Business Day 2025.

Each forum is led by a Chair and Organising Committee, with support from the Yunus Centre. Discussions may be conducted in the local language or English, ensuring inclusive participation.

The forums will focus on practical approaches to advancing social business practices in each country or region, enabling participants to explore new ideas, build partnerships, and contribute to sustainable development at the local level.

Planned Forums for 2025 include:

1. Africa Forum
2. Australia Forum
3. Bangladesh Forum
4. Europe Forum
5. Greater China Forum
6. India Forum
7. Japan Forum
8. Brazil Forum
9. Malaysia Forum
10. Nepal Forum
11. North America Forum
12. Pakistan Forum
13. Philippines Forum
14. Thailand Forum

The outcomes of each forum, including their two-year action plans, will be presented during the Report Back Session on 28 June 2025 at Social Business Day 2025.

Further updates on the Country and Regional Forums will be shared here in due course.
