As an integral component of the highly anticipated 13th Social Business Day, an array of Country Forums is set to unfold. These forums have been designed to inspire conversations and discussions in countries with a strong social business ecosystem. The Country Forums session is dedicated to sharing experiences, exploring potential, and analyzing the actual practice of social businesses, fostering fruitful conversations.
The forums will provide a platform for countries and regions already implementing social business practices to share their experiences, explore potential opportunities, and analyze the implementation of social businesses within their respective contexts. Ideally, each forum will be conducted in the participants' native language, with English as an option if necessary.
On July 27th, 2023, which marks day 1 of Social Business Day, the Country Forums event will be hosted in Langkawi, Malaysia, at Pelangi Beach Resort & Spa, Langkawi.
To establish a country forum, a minimum of 15 participants is required. Each forum will be organized by a Country Forum Organizing Committee, which will consist of several members and will be headed by a chair, supported by one or more co-chairs.
During the Country Forums, participants will have the opportunity to share their experiences, exchange best practices, and develop action plans for their respective countries over the next two years. Additionally, organizers encourage each forum to consider incorporating the 3ZERO Clubs initiative, which empowers young people to take action towards achieving a sustainable and equitable future.
