Hundred Youth Summer Camp Excite Creative No Border – "I am here" Venture Dialogue

The “Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurship Program” is created by many YSBC from different University in Taiwan and Foundation of Yunus Social Business Center. From the launch, there are already four University hold the youth entrepreneurship proposal event and provide students a place to excite their creative. CJCU conducted the 5th “I am here” Venture Dialogue on August 21st. Different from the old pattern, CJCU combined “I am here" Venture Dialogue and “2018 CJCU Global Culture Exchange Summer Camp” two events and specially designed social business global camp activity to extend the youth innovation and entrepreneurship program into global level, provided students from every countries a chance to communication.

This year we have almost 100 students from Czech, India, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Philippine, Taiwan, America and Vietnam joined the “I am here Innovation and Entrepreneurship Happiness Circle” global camp. The event invited the YSBC Director of Development Committee, Zhang, Ke-Yun to introduce the concept of social business. Help student to understand the function and the value of the social business, and further more agree the philosophy of social business from Yunus Doctor.

At the same time, the camp went through the interactive game and excide students from each country seriously examine what kind of social problem their country is facing. By the group discuss, raise their innovation ideas about social business, design a business mode to solve the social problem. They display their teamwork and do the competition to present, share and communicate. The idea result from each team member is come from everyone brainstorm and show the unlimited creative and the power of teamwork of the youth.

Doctor Yunus once said, “We teach students be prepared for work, but we didn’t teach them to think of what kind of future they want to build.” Every young students are the seed of create or change the future. This time CJCU hold this event is looking forward to lead students from different culture background to share and discuss. From the angle of Citizen of the World to care the environment we live and construct the ability of independent thinking in the future.
