Michael Jack Meallem

Mr. Michael Meallem is the co-founder and director of the Centre for Social Impact (CSI) at Payap University. The Center, established in 2019, brings expertise from across the different university faculties to provide advocacy, training, consulting, information resources and academic services for policymakers, practitioners, funders, and the academic community in Thailand and the wider ASEAN community and is currently working with partners across 16 countries in Asia and Europe.

In addition to his role at the Center for Social Impact, Michael is the co-founder of the recently approved Yunus Social Business Center at Payap. The YSBC will serve as a hub for the promotion of social entrepreneurship and the Yunus social business model in Northern Thailand.

Previous to his role at the center, he was the department chair for the International Business Management program at the university’s International College.
