Biswajit Ghosh worked for two and a half decades in various senior leadership roles within the HSBC Bank Group globally before transitioning into the development sector. During the initial phase of the COVID-19 pandemic, he served as the CEO of the Rotary India Literacy Mission (RILM), spearheading several national literacy campaigns. Under his leadership, RILM emerged as the leading NGO contributor of eLearning content for 12 National PM-eVidya TV Channels of NCERT. He also led a nationwide Rotary campaign to provide free eyeglasses to over 25,000 children post-pandemic.

Biswajit Ghosh currently serves as a Senior Yunus Fellow at the Yunus Centre. He is also the Global Director of Partnerships for the Rotary Action Group for Community Economic Development (RAGCED), where he focuses on implementing economic development projects led by Rotary Clubs worldwide to support impoverished communities.

Additionally, Biswajit is the Managing Director of the Nabin Entrepreneurship Foundation in Bhopal, an organization dedicated to promoting Social Business and the 3ZEROs concept among Indian youth. He is also the Director of YSBC – Career College, Bhopal. Both organizations are at the forefront in India, developing an online global internship program that teaches Social Business and Social Entrepreneurship. This initiative is aimed at Indian college students and 3ZERO Club members worldwide.
