Léa Klein is the Founder and President of Makesense Asia. In 2015, she established the Asian chapter of Makesense in the Philippines, an international non-profit organization dedicated to equipping individuals with the tools and resources needed to actively participate in global societal and ecological transitions, fostering self-determination and a sustainable future for all. Under her leadership, Makesense Asia has been instrumental in nurturing the growth of over 30 social startups and building coalition movements that engage 45,000 citizens and over 200 institutions to address pressing social and environmental challenges in the Philippines.

In 2023, Léa and her team expanded Makesense Asia by opening a second office in Singapore, aiming to significantly enhance citizen engagement across the region. This expansion is supported by two flagship programs: Jobs_that_makesense Asia, a job portal for impact careers, and The Good Chat, an incubator for social media influencers to mobilize their audiences for the region's energy transition.
