I have been providing legal advice to various social business companies in Bangladesh for more than a decade. In particular, I have assisted companies to structure their constitution and business in a manner that complies with the social business principles. I have assisted foreign investors, such as Intel, Danone and Veolia, who were joint-venture partners in social business companies in Bangladesh. I have also acted pro bono for social business enterprises in the context of regulatory issues and disputes. I am a member of the general body of Grameen Kalyan, which is a forerunner in the field of social business.
