Prasad Chandran

Mr. Chandran is the former Chairman and Managing Director of BASF India Limited.

He was bestowed the Bundesverdienstkreuz- "The Order of Merit " - the highest civilian Award by the Federal Republic of Germany, for his outstanding contribution to Indo-German relations.

Mr. Chandran is the Founder Chairman of SEEGOS – a Social Enterprise with primary focus on promoting good governance, nation building and fight against corruption.

He is currently an Independent Director on the boards of Bosch Limited, Coromandel International Limited, HDFC Life, a Trustee with Public Concern for Governance Trust (PCGT) and an advisory board member of IMA, Global Compact Network India(GCNI) and Chairman of Berlin based Alliance for Integrity (AfIn).  Also the Chairman of the Ethics Committee of the Bombay Chamber of Commerce and industry (BCCI).

Mr. Chandran is actively involved with Yunus Social  Business (YSB) in India. He is an advisory board member of the India Corporation Action Tank (joint  initiative of Tata Trust and YSB).
