Prof. ABM Shahidul Islam obtained his PhD in “Exchange Relationships in Business-to-Business Marketing” in 2005 from University of Dhaka, Bangladesh and M.Phil in “Relationship Marketing between Advertising Agencies and Their Clients” in 2002 from University of Strathclyde, Glasgow, UK. Prof. Islam is experienced with a lot of administrative jobs throughout his career. He was the Syndicate Member of Dhaka University in between 1989-1991. Prof. Islam served as Vice-Chancellor of Leading University, Sylhet, Bangladesh in between 2006-2009 having the appointment by the Chancellor and President of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh. Prof. Islam currently is the Executive Editor of International Journal of Social Business (IJSB) and CEO of Centre for Promoting Global Education (CPGE). He was the Editor of DU Journal of Marketing in between 2003-2005. He obtained Commonwealth Scholarship in 1991 for higher study in the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow, Scotland, UK.
