Dr B N Kulkarni is one of the Promotor Directors of Micro Credit Initiative of Grameen (MIG) Mumbai, India, MIG a section 08 company, operating on Social Business Principles is replicating Grameen Bank micro credit model for poverty alleviation. For a few years Dr Kulkarni worked as a Country Director of Grameen Trust Bangladesh for providing technical support on GB Model to Indian MFIs. Prior to this he had a long work experience with National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development as General Manager. During this tenure he was associated with a number of Committees related to rural credit appointed by Government of Maharashtra, Government of India and Reserve Bank of India.
