She has a doctorate in social psychology from Nanjing University. She is a Chinese psychologist best known for her participation as a guest on the acclaimed television dating show If You are the One.

Her topics of research include gender-based discrimination, reproductive and child-rearing trends, urban-rural sociology, and management psychology.

In December 2014, Professor Muhammad Yunus met Huang Han and awarded her as Grameen China Goodwill Ambassador, in the launching ceremony of Grameen China, in Lukou village, Jiangsu Province. In 2015, Huang Han also visit Grameen Bank with the China delegation and attended Social Business Day.
