Gerd Hoefner has been MD and President at Siemens Healthcare Pvt. Ltd. since 2016, and oversees operations that span sales and service for South Asia, manufacturing and R&D in India. He is also responsible for the Development Center of Siemens Healthineers, a global R&D organization that drives excellence in product lifecycle management with teams in India and Slovakia.

Gerd Hoefner serves as the Chairman of the Advisory Board of the Fraunhofer Institute for Experimental Software Engineering, the Chairman of the NASSCOM Germany Council, an ambassador of the German Indian Startup Exchange Program, and as member of the CII CEO Forum.
