Dr. Achyuta Samanta is an educationist, philanthropist, social entrepreneur par excellence and the harbinger of ‘coalition of conscience’ – an innovative sustainable model to be emulated adapting to socio-economic cultural milieu with fruits of liberalization percolating to every strata and ‘diversifying of talent pool’ thereby contributing to nation building. He envisioned- complete education for social development two decades ago has now been vindicated by the global leaders as they emphasize on education as one of the most important objectives under UN’s Sustainable Development Goals.

KISS - located in Bhubaneswar, India - is a free of cost, fully-residential school for 37,000 indigenous students; this includes a mammoth body of 27,000 current students and over 10,000 alumni. KISS was founded in 1993 by Dr. Achyuta Samanta, with a vision of a world free of hunger, illiteracy and poverty.
