Andrea Jung is President and Chief Executive Officer of Grameen America, the leading micro-finance organization in the United States. She was appointed by Professor Muhammad Yunus in 2014  and under her leadership, Grameen America has now served over 100,000 women in poverty in fourteen U.S. cities, providing nearly $1 billion US in loans supporting entrepreneurship since the program’s inception.

Ms. Jung was the longest serving female chief executive officer in the Fortune 500. She served as Chairman and CEO of Avon from 1999 through 2012, focused on expanding economic earnings opportunities to over six million women in over one hundred countries.

Ms. Jung has been lauded globally for her dedication to empowering women.

Throughout her corporate tenure, Ms. Jung ranked consistently among the top leaders on lists including Fortune Magazine’s “Most Powerful Women in Business”, Forbes Magazine’s “Most Powerful Women in the World”, and Financial Times “Top Women in World Business”.

She currently serves as a member of the Board of Directors of  Apple Inc., Unilever NV, and Rockefeller Capital Management.
