Dr Arshiya Bose is the founder of Black Baza Coffee Co. a social and conservation enterprise that aims to empower smallholder coffee growers to conserve biodiversity on coffee farms. In its third year, Black Baza Coffee Co. works directly with 391 coffee producers across India. Arshiya completed her PhD from the University of Cambridge, UK in 2014 on market-incentives and certifications for biodiversity conservation in coffee landscapes. Her interests include impact-oriented research and consumer advocacy.
