This is Furkan Hossain. I am a Public Health Specialist. I have experienced 14 years professional life. I worked as a lecturer for five years in Gono Bishwabidalaya, The People's University of Bangladesh and Bangladesh Medical College. Then I joined NGO's as public health specialist. Currently I am working with an International Development Organization (Save the Children) for last 3 years.
I am also an entrepreneur. I am running a hospital (PRANTIK General Hospital) at Ramgonj Upazila sadar as a Chairmen of the company. I am a technology entrepreneur. I am Co-Founder and Director of TeleHealth Care Ltd (Pls visit www.telehealthcare360.com). Since last 5 years I am working for development of Telemedicine technology and services in Bangladesh and in this region. Hope that in 2015 TeleHealth will starts it's services in Bangladesh and many other countries.
During my work on Telemedicine and mHealth, I observed that there is huge limitation for Telemedicine and mHealth video conferencing system. Video conferencing system for Telemedicine and mHealth is not general one which we are experiencing like Skype. Telemedicine and mHealth are required more secure with more facilities video conferencing system.
In this regard, I have designed a business plan for development a specialized video conferencing system for Telemedicine and mHealth. This product will serve for global market. The proposed company name is “Grameen Dekha Social Business Ltdâ€. The product name is “gKotha.comâ€. I am interested to participate and present my social business plan in upcoming social business design lab (17 January 2015).
